Special May Event: #PoP at the Hammond Museum & Japanese Stroll Garden

Pros(e) of Pie is bringing you another first this May. Thanks to a new collaboration with the Hammond Museum in North Salem, we’re venturing inland a little farther than we’d normally dare. Join us for an evening of world-class contemporary storytelling – from around the neighborhood and across state lines – in the Hammond’s main exhibition hall.  Fear not, you’ll have a chance to enjoy all their galleries before the show and during intermission. Or better yet, come even earlier to discover the many regions of their stunning Japanese stroll gardens. The Hammond’s generously agreed to open the gardens at 6pm for PoP ticketholders!

*No pie bake-off this month. Light refreshments will be served.

We’re kicking off our FIFTH year with stellar storytelling in a great new venue.

Following on the two packed Sunnyside shows you raved about, we’re delighted to bring you another collaboration with Historic Hudson Valley. This time, we’re transforming a colonial era barn into a magical space for the region’s best storytelling.

Join us at STORYSTAGE@PhilipsburgManor on July 29!  Come early to stroll the grounds of this historic farming estate. Enjoy adult drinks with sweet & savory treats from Samosa Shack and Red Barn Bakery. Then find your spot in the barn to hear the best tales from some of the nation’s most beloved storytellers:

Special May Event: STORYSTAGE @SUNNYSIDE

Get ready for the biggest storytelling event of the season!

Following on the success of our October collaboration with Historic Hudson Valley, we’ve joined forces once again to present – STORYSTAGE @Sunnyside!  This is an extra special showcase of the best storytelling you’ll find anywhere in the country. Great modern storytelling at the home of America’s first great storyteller.

Like the last event at historic Sunnyside, we’ll be under a grand tent, alongside Washington Irving’s historic home with the glorious Hudson River as our backdrop.

This all-star line-up includes some of the nation’s most successful and beloved storytellers, including:
